It's every squirrel's lament... putting something away, in a place that SHOULD have made perfect sense, only to NOT be able to find it sometime later. Tonight's episode - unable to find battery charger for the lawn mower. I last recall using it in mid-summer, but then tucked it away during a garage cleanup... haven't seen it since. Augh!!
